Meet Atif Qadir, founder of Amanat Properties and an MIT-trained architect. Atif transformed his own residence at 920 Hudson Street in Hoboken into a modern treehouse-inspired sanctuary. Drawing from his rich heritage and professional expertise, Qadir reimagined the once dark, 900-square-foot condo into a bright, open space that harmonizes with the Gothic Revival architecture of the building. His vision was brought to life with the help of designer Camila Crazut, skillfully combining functionality with beauty to create a home that feels both contemporary and timeless.
“Incorporating Vestaboard into my living space has enhanced both functionality and aesthetic appeal, bridging the gap between tradition and innovation.” The Vestaboard not only complements the serene, treehouse-inspired ambiance but also introduces a dynamic element to this thoughtfully curated home.
Atif's appreciation for craftsmanship is evident throughout the renovation. The apartment's design draws inspiration from the towering trees lining Hudson Street, creating a serene, treehouse-like atmosphere amidst the urban landscape. This project not only reflects his personal journey but also his commitment to preserving architectural heritage while embracing modern design principles.
